Most of the time, the quality of these equipment are compromised due to the limited budget that the organization can shell out. Good thing there are some suppliers that can provide good quality medical products at a very attractive price. 

These suppliers usually have contracts with various businesses - they basically do not deal with small orders and purchases. They are basically providing the supplies as wholesale, manage different aspects of the distribution of the products. Companies can definitely save not only a portion of their budget, but also a huge amount of time when they deal with these partner suppliers. 

In relation to the safety of the workers, it is never enough to be able to provide medical attention whenever it is needed. It is also crucial that a workplace must be able to provide a safe working environment for its workers and customers alike to avoid health problems. After all, prevention is definitely better than cure.
